It’s already been three months since I came to New Zealand. It’s such a comfortable place to live, plenty of nature, and it really amazing. School life is challenging, but I’ve had lots of opportunities to speak with my classmates and teachers, and I’ve made some good friends, so I’m really enjoying it. At first, it was quite difficult to keep up with the lessons, and I struggled a lot. Even now, there are still things I don’t understand, but I try to ask questions or look things up, and I’m managing to get through it. My host family is very kind, and I’m having a great time with them every day. On weekends, we go out or watch films together, which is really relaxing. I’ve had the chance to try foods like fish and chips and lamb, which are full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I still have two more months until I return to Japan, and I’m determined to improve my English and make the most of this time. When I return home, I hope to make use of what I’ve learned and all the experiences I’ve had here.
